I know what you did last summer
Dão is known for subtle, earthy reds and elegant whites. Rosés rarely take the stage, aged rosés even less so. This is a 2017 blend of Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Alfrocheiro and Jaen. Structured and full bodied yet it shows a freshness and an elegance that is a Dão trademark. I had something else open but this shiitake risotto was screaming for this exact rosé and the magic of wine happened.

New wave of v.elegant, fresh, tense, Portuguese reds. Native varieties like Bastardo, Tinta Carvalha, Rufete, Moreto + talent like @antonio_macanita behind it. Limited-ed. Chão dos Ermitas Alentejo range amongst the best wines coming out of Portugal at the moment. #fineportugal
